Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Mauritania Energy Transition Acceleration - Regional Power Masterplan As Part Of The World Banks Support To Omvs And Its Member Countries; The Objective Of This Mission Is To Identify The Next Structuring Works In Terms Of Development Of The Electricity Market For The Interconnected Network Of The Omvs (Rio).This Objective Will Be Carried Out Through The Update Of The Omvs Electricity Master Plan Drawn Up In 2015. This Electricity Master Plan Will Optimize Both The Production And Transmission Of Electricity For The Omvs And Will Enable The Various Players In The Sector To Electricity In The Region (Public Authorities; Private Sectors; Electricity Companies; Omvs High Commission; Sogem; Semaf; Sogeoh; Donors; Etc.) To Have A Clear; Global And Coherent Vision Of The Future Development Of Power Generation And Transmission Infrastructure In The Region And A Sound Decision-Making Basis For Their Implementation.This Master Plan Should Specify The Investment Priorities In The Short; Medium And Long Terms (Horizon 2040) For The Development Of The Entire Electrical System Throughout The Territory Of The Omvs; While Minimizing The Cost Of Supplying The Countries In Electricity; Within Acceptable Limits Of Reliability.As Part Of This Planning; Optimal Solutions Must Be Found For The Identification Of New Electricity Production Sites (Including Renewable Energy Deposits Other Than Hydroelectricity In The Senegal River Basin); New Energy Transmission Lines (And If Necessary Rural Mv Distribution) And The Definition Of Their Routes; Taking Into Account The Development Plans For The Electricity Networks Of The 4 Member States.
