The Purpose Of This Study Is To Assess The Status Of End-Of-Life (Eol) And Abandoned; Lost; Or Discarded Fishing Gear (Aldfg) In Coastal Fisheries In A Selected Two To Three Pacific Island Countries (Pic) And Support Awareness Building Among Coastal People Engaged In Fisheries To Encourage Best Practices In Litter Disposal. This Study Aims To Provide A Better Understanding Of The Contribution Of Coastal Fisheries To Regional Marine Pollution In The Form Of Eol Gear And Aldfg And To Provide Recommendations To Help Strengthen National And Regional Policies To Reduce Aldfg In The Fisheries. Identify Areas That Are Vulnerable To Aldfg Impacts In Relation To Climate Change; Using Modelling Approach And Maps.E.
