Tenders Are Invited For Volunteer Co-Ordination (Family Support) Service

Conwy County Borough Council Wishes To Commission A Suitably Qualified Organisation To Co-Ordinate And Deliver A Volunteer Co-Ordination (Family Support) Service As Part Of The Children And Communities Grant – Families First And Flying Start Programmes. The Families First And Flying Start Programmes Are Part Of The Welsh Government’S Children And Communities Grant (Ccg) Which Aims To Address The Support Needs Of The Most Vulnerable Children And Adults In Our Communities Through A Range Of Early Intervention, Prevention And Support Mechanisms. It Will Seek To Mitigate Or Remove Disadvantage To Vulnerable People To Enable Them To Have The Same Life Chances As Others, And Therefore Contribute To A More Equal Wales. The Service Covered By This Invitation To Tender Is Required To Work With Family Units Across Conwy Who Are Referred By Conwy Family Support Teams To Receive One To One Family Support From Volunteers As Well As Supporting Groups Delivered By Family Support Teams. The Service Will Aim To Work Within The Following Model For Family Support In Conwy; Level 1: Unstructured And Structured Groups Supported By Volunteers Level 2: One To One Family Support By Volunteers Level 3: Intensive One To One Family Support By Family Workers The Detailed Requirements For The Volunteer Co-Ordination (Family Support) Service Are Detailed In The Full Invitation To Tender, And The Tender Specification And Instructions To Tenderers Documents.
