Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Consultancy To Prepare A Discussion Paper Outlining Various Options To Operationalise The Southern African Development Community Regional Development Fund (Sadc Rdf). The Services Included Under This Project Are To Fully Operationalize The Sadc Regional Development Fund (Sadc Rdf) That Would Support The Integration Process In Sadc Member States By Providing Source Of Financial Assistance To Member States That Could Alleviate The Measurable Costs Of Integration And Supplement Member States Own Initiatives In Implementing Measures Essential To Effective Integration. The Services To Be Provided Under The Assignment Will Focus On: (I) Review Of Previous Work And Study Recommendations On The Operationalisation Of The Sadc Rdf, (Ii) Defining The Appropriate Structure For The Facility, (Iii) Advising On The Suitability Of Fund Management Structure, (Iv) Defining The Governance And Institutional Structure Based On The Structure Of The Board Of Governors, The Board Of Directors (And Its Sub-Committees), The Investment Committee, Management And Staff. Voting Mechanism Amongst Members, (V) Identifying Key Institutional Policies, Procedures And Guidelines Including Environmental And Social Policies Etc, And (Vi) Reviewing The Suitability Of Instruments To Be Provided By The Fund.
