The Department Is Looking For Vendors Who Can Provide Annual ¿Train The Trainer¿ Chainsaw Safety Training. The Department Is Looking To Have Approximately 6 Classes Throughout The Year With Roughly 12 Students Per Class. These Classes Will Include Instruction For; Basic Chainsaw Safety, Enhanced Chainsaw Maintenance And Productivity Techniques, Advanced Cutting Techniques For Hinge-Controlled Felling And Limbing, As Well As Safe Removal Of Tree/Brush Storm Damage. Gdot Will Provide Informational Material And Equipment For Students, As Well As Locations With Trees For Practicing Practical Skills.
