The World Bank Is Seeking The Services Of A Qualified Firm To Evaluate Sierra LeoneS Current Cybersecurity Skills Ecosystem; Labor Market Landscape For Cybersecurity Professionals; And Training Programs For Skilling And Re-Skilling Cybersecurity Proficiency. The Assignment Will Also Include The Development Of National Cybersecurity Skills And Workforce Assessment Framework And The Design Of The National Cybersecurity Skills Strategy In Sierra Leone. The Purpose Of The Assignment Is To Support Sierra Leone In Its Quest To Increase Cybersecurity Awareness And Develop Skilled Cybersecurity Human Capital That Is Able To Effectively Address The Cybersecurity Risks That Come With Digitalization And Digital Transformation And Respond To Cybersecurity Threats And Cybercrime At Various Levels Of The Society. The Consultant Will Adopt An Ecosystem-Wide Approach And Begin With A Comprehensive Evaluation Of The Cybersecurity Skills Ecosystem In Sierra Leone; Including Basic Cybersecurity Awareness And Hygiene; Cybersecurity Education And Training Programs; And Supply And Demand Of Cybersecurity Labor Market; In Order To Assess The Current Status And Gaps That Exist. Based On The Evaluation; The Consultant Will Design The Key Components Of The National Cybersecurity Skills And Workforce Strategy And Its Implementation Plan In Line With Global Standards That Will Frame Sierra LeoneS Future Cybersecurity Awareness And Skills Development Programs.
