The Improvements Consist Of 4557 Lf Of 8-Inch Sanitary Sewer Gravity Main And Eighty-Nine (89) Service Connections, Yard Lines And Decommissioning Of Septic Tanks. Alternate Scope Of Work No. 1 For This Project Involves The Installation And Extension Of The Sanitary Sewer Collection System From Business 83 And S. Abram Rd. To El Barquito Subdivision In Palmview, Texas. The Improvements Consist Of 567 Lf Of 12-Inch Sanitary Sewer Gravity Main, 2265 Lf Of 8-Inch Sanitary Sewer Gravity Main And Thirty-Two (32) Service Connections, Yard Lines And Decommissioning Of Septic Tanks. The Home Connections And Decommissioning Of Septic Tanks Includes But Is Not Limited To Disconnecting And Pumping Any And All Existing Septic Tanks/Cesspools, Disposing Of Spoil Materials At A Disposal Site Approved By The Texas Commission On Environmental Quality (Tceq), And Decommissioning Existing Septic Tanks And/Or Cesspools As Per Tceq Policy. Additionally, The Project Involves Connecting Sdr 35 Pvc Pipes To The Existing Sanitary Sewer And Grey Water Pipes Within The Residential Dwellings, In Compliance With The Plumbing Code And Tceq Guidelines. Landscape And Surface Media Repairs Will Also Be Carried Out As Necessary.
