Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Consulting Firm To Review Mining Policy, Legal Framework And Development The Government Of The Republic Of South Sudan Has Received A Financing From The African Development Bank Towards The Cost Of Institutional Support Project For Strengthening Economic Governance (Isp-Seg) In South Sudan, And Intends To Apply Part Of The Agreed Amount Of This Grant To Payments Under The Contract For Hiring A Consulting Firm To Review Mining Policy, Legal Framework And Development Of Asm Strategic Plan. 2. The Services Under This Consultancy Include But Not Limited To: (I) Review And Analyze The Mining Policy, Legal And Regulatory Frameworks Currently Operational In South SudanS Mining And Related Sectors; (Ii) Carry Out Comparative Analyses Of Item (I) Above, Taking Cognizance Of Regional/International Best Practices; (Iii) Develop Drafts Of The Mining Policy, Strategic Plan, Necessary Legislative Amendments To The Mining Act, 2012 And Mining Regulation 2015 Taking Cognizance Of Regional And Continental Vision And Policy Frameworks Relating To AfricaS Mining Sector (Such As The Africa Mining Vision And Its Action Plan); (Iv) Subject The Drafts Of The Policy, Strategic Plan, Asm Strategy And Legal Framework Amendments Developed To Stakeholder Validation; (V) Make A Presentation Of All The Outputs To The Ministry Of Mining Tender Link : Https://Www.Afdb.Org/En/Projects-And-Operations/Procurement
