In The Years 2008 To 2012, The Training Simulator Was Adapted From The Original Leopard 2 A4 Design Status (Kstand) To That Of The Then Current Leopard 2 A5/A6 Weapon System. A Total Of 6 Agpt Leopard 2 A5/A6 Are Used In The Bundeswehr. An Agpt Consists Of 4 Leopard 2 Combat Room Simulators And 1 Line/Evaluation And Control Station (Laks). A Full Tank Crew (Commander, Gunner, Loader And Military Driver) Can Be Trained Simultaneously In A Combat Room Simulator. The Laks Currently Offers Space For A Maximum Of 2 Trainers And 6 Trainees. In Order To Carry Out A Modern, Future-Oriented Training Adapted To Todays Operational Requirements, All 6 Agpt Leopard 2 A5/A6 Introduced In The Bundeswehr And The Associated Agpt Agpt Are To Be Adapted To The K-Status Of The Leopard 2 A7v Weapon System. The Service To Be Awarded Includes In Particular The Adaptation Of The Operator Positions For The Commander, The Gunner, The Loader And The Military Driver By Scaffolding The Combat Room Simulator In The Existing Containers With Replicas That Are As Exact As Possible Or Original Tank Parts To The K Status Of The Leopard 2 A7v Weapon System.
