The Pest Animals To Be Included In The Control Programme Are Rabbit, Possum, Mustelids, Rodents, And Others, Such As Pig And Deer If And As Required. The Program Shall Include The Use Of Humane And Effective Methods To Control Pest Animal Populations, Favouring Trapping And Shooting. The Methods Used To Control Pest Animal Populations Must Prioritise Public Safety And The Safety Of Domesticated Animals. The Contractor Is Required To Be A Hold A Current Controlled Substances License (Csl). It Is Preferred The Contractor Uses Pcp Air Rifles In Densely Populated Urban Situations, As These Rifles Offer A Safer Option. See Appendix A Standard Operating Procedure - Shooting Pest Animals.
