Tenders Are Invited For Burundi-Diagnosis/Modernization Plan Of Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems And Information Services The Main Objective Of This Assignment Is To Develop An Evidence-Based Diagnostic And Investment Plan For The Implementation; Strengthening; And Modernization Of Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (Mhws); Hydrometeorological (Weather; Climate; And Hydrological) Services; And Emergency Preparedness And Response Systems (Ep&R) In Burundi. Specific Objectives Include: (I) Assess The Current State Of Burundi´S Early Warning Systems (Ews); (Ii) Evaluate Burundi´S Hydrometeorological Services; Including The Availability And Accessibility Of Data And Information; (Iii) Assess Emergency Preparedness And Response Capacities (Ep&R); Including The Effectiveness Of Contingency Plans (Including Local Level Contingency Plans) And Community Ewss And The Availability Of Resources For Emergency Response; (Iv) Develop An Investment Plan For Enhanced Mhews; Hydrometeorological Information Services; And Ep&R Systems; And (V) Develop A Monitoring And Evaluation Plan To Measure The Future Progress Of Mhews; Hydromet Information Services; And Ep&R Systems.
