Service Of Operation, Maintenance And Conservation Functions Of The Portable Seawater Desalination Module Located In The Valle De G mar Industrial Estate. The Objective Of The Ciatf Has Been To Increase The Availability Of Good Quality Water In Different Regions Of The Island Of Tenerife To Correct The Water Imbalance That Puts The Supply Of Its Population Centers At Risk. As A More Effective Measure, The Necessary Installations For The Commissioning Of Several Portable Desalination Modules, Owned By The Ciatf, Were Executed In Different Locations On The Island, Including The Valle De G mar Industrial Estate, Where A Module Capable Of Producing 1,000 M3/Day Of Desalinated Seawater Is Currently Installed. Initially, This Installation Had A Seasonal Operation, Especially During The Summer Season, To Reinforce The Supply System Of The Region. However, In Recent Years, The Tenerife Island Water Council Has Been Able To Verify The Structural Nature Of The Need To Support The G mar City Council In The Production Of Water For Urban Supply, Which Is Why The Current Contract For The Operation, Maintenance And Conservation Functions Service Of The Portable Seawater Desalination Module Located In The Valle De G mar Industrial Estate (2020/169) Was Processed. Given The Continuity Of Demand For New Sources Of Supply In The Region For The Next Few Years And, On The Other Hand, That The Current Service Contract (2020/169) Is Nearing Completion, It Is Necessary To Promote A New Contracting Procedure To Give Continuity To The Service.
