The Objective Of The Diagnostic Is To Understand The Childcare Arrangements Utilized By Vulnerable And Low-Income Households And The Constraints They Face With The View To Designing Policies And Programs (I.E.; Community-Based Childcare Pilot) To Improve The Accessibility And Quality Of Such Services. The Diagnostic Will Examine How Access To Childcare (Or/And The Lack Thereof) Affects Primary Caregivers Participation In The Labour Market And Employment Programs. Based On These Assessments; The Ds Should Present Recommendations For Developing Quality Childcare Options Which Will Allow Low-Income Households To: (I) Improve Access To Childcare Services And; (Ii) Increase Access To Employment Opportunities And Higher Earnings For Caregivers.
