The Housing And Facility Affairs Department (Dhf) Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (Bz) Has Been Using An Ict Solution From Planon Since The 1990S To Support Its Facility And Property Management. After Careful Consideration, Bz Has Decided To Renew The Standing Solution For Several Reasons. With This In Mind, Project Zephyr - Iwms Was Started. Bz Intends To Contract One Contractor To Supply, Implement And Manage A Saas Ict Solution For An “Integrated Workspace Management System” For Dhf. The Ict Solution Supports The Following Primary Processes: - Property Service And Facility Management - Property Maintenance - Renewal And Adjustment Portfolio And Also The Secondary Processes: - Shopping - Contract Management - Project Management - Planning And Control - Decision Dhf Is Looking For An Ict Solution That: • Provides Good Support For “Standard” Accommodation Functions; • Offers Sufficient Flexibility To Support “Special Facilities” Of Foreign Affairs; • Is Future-Proof; • Alignment With Wishes Regarding Information Provision And Reporting; • Fits Into The Enterprise Architecture And Can Be Linked To The Relevant Purchasing/Receiving Systems; • Results In An Acceptable Management Burden; • Meets The Strict Safety Requirements Of Bz.
