Bc Parks Is Committed To Providing High Quality Park Facilities For Users Within The Province Of British Columbia. Included With The Services Provided To Park Users Is Potable Quality Drinking Water For Use In Campground And Day Use Facilities.Kentucky-Alleyne Provincial Park Is Located Approximately 96 Kilometers West Of Kelowna, Bc. This Facility Contains Campgrounds Totaling 79 Campsites, Group Use Campsites, And Day Use Facilities.The Current Water System That Services This Park Has Been Identified For Upgrades Based On Water Quality Sampling And Facility Assessments. It Is Expected That The Treatment Of Iron And Manganese Will Be Required. Firms Submitting Are To Have Experience In Designing Treatment Systems Of This Type.Bc Parks Intends To Upgrade The Existing Water Distribution To Provide Adequate Manganese And Iron Removal In Order To Achieve Levels That Are Consistent With The Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines. The Comprehensive Water Matrix Laboratory Results From Water Sampling Are Included In This Rfp.It Is The Intent Of Bc Parks To Engage A Consultant To Identify Upgrade Requirements And Prepare Tender Ready Designs And Specifications.
