Framework Agreement For The Procurement Of Euro Banknotes Produced In A Particularly Secure Process. The Deutsche Bundesbank, Hereinafter Referred To As The Bbk, Intends To Conclude A Framework Agreement On Awarding Orders For The Production Of Euro Banknotes In A Particularly Secure Process (Regarding Production, Storage And Transport, Including The Preliminary Products) For The Bbk And Other Clients From The European Central Bank With Regard To Security, To Allocate Banknote Printers Accredited For Quality, Environment And Health And Safety Aspects (Applications For Accreditation Can Be Submitted To The European Central Bank, Sonnemannstra e 20, D60314 Frankfurt Am Main.). The Framework Agreement Partner Not Only Produces Euro Banknotes For The Bbk, But Also For Other Clients Who Have Authorized The Bbk Accordingly (Currently Hrvatska Narodna Banka, Latvijas Banka And Lietuvos Bankas And In The Future Possibly Other National Central Banks Of The Eurosystem). The Recipients Of The Banknotes Can Also Be Other Central Banks In The Eurosystem In Addition To The Customers Themselves. The Framework Agreement Is Concluded For Four Years, With The Bbk And The Other Clients Reserving An Annual Right Of Termination For The Entire Framework Agreement. As Part Of This Agreement, Bbk Will Make Individual Requests. The Period For The Delivery Readiness Of The Respective Individual Request Will Be Communicated Together With The Respective Request For Submission Of Offers For The Respective Individual Request.
