La2609c – Rft - Ucd For The Upgrade Of A Passthrough Autoclave For University College Dublin. This Includes The Supply, Delivery, Installation And Maintenance Of An Autoclave With A Double Door Pass Through Function (Passthrough Autoclave) For The Containment Level 3 (Cl3) Laboratory In Ucd Centre For Experimental Pathogen Host Research (Cephr). Located On The First Floor, The Cl3 Laboratory Is Designed To Work Under Biosafety Level Iii (Bsl Iii) Guidelines With Risk Group 3 Pathogens. The Primary Purpose Of The Autoclave Is To Decontaminate All Infectious Materials And Wastes And Instruments. First, The Retired Passthrough Autoclave Must Be Dismantled, Removed, And Disposed Of By The Successful Tenderer. The New Autoclave Will Need To Be Installed In The Wall Opening That Separates The Cl3 Laboratory And The Adjacent And Noncontained Autoclave Room. The Installation Also Includes The Work Necessary To Maintain The Cl3 Containment Barrier And Partitions, Walls And Ceilings Around The Autoclave Shall Be Sealed. A Total Of 3 Years Warranty And Full Service Are Required.
