The Solomon Island Water Authority, Trading As Solomon Water (Sw) Has Received Financing From The Asian Development Bank (Adb) Toward The Cost Of The Noro Water Supply Upgrade Project. Part Of This Financing Will Be Used For Payments Under The Contract Named Above. Bidding Is Open To Bidders From Eligible Source Countries Of Adb. 2. The Solomon Islands Water Authority, Trading As Solomon Water ("Sw") ("The Employer") Invites Sealed Bids From Eligible Bidders For The Construction And Completion Of Noro Water Supply Upgrade ("The Works"). 3. Open Competitive Bidding (International) Will Be Conducted In Accordance With AdbS Single-Stage: One Envelope Procedure And Is Open To All Bidders From Eligible Countries As Described In The Bidding Document 4. Only Eligible Bidders With The Following Key Qualifications Should Participate In This Bidding: Participation As A Contractor, Joint Venture Partner, Or Subcontractor, In At Least Two Contracts That Have Been Satisfactorily And Substantially Completed Within The Last 8 (Eight) Years And That Are Similar To The Proposed Works, Where The Value Of The BidderS Participation Under Each Contract Exceeds Usd3,000,000 (Three Million Us Dollars). The Similarity Of The BidderS Participation Shall Be Based On: - Construction Including Equipment Design Detailing Of At Least One Wtp Of Capacity At Least 120M3/H And Providing Pressure Sand Filtration And Chlorine Disinfection Through All Works Stages To And Including Testing And Commissioning.
