Purpose Of Procurementpursuant To The State Purchasing Act (Official Code Of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Proposals (Erfp) Is Being Issued To Establish A Contract With A Qualified Supplier Who Will Provide Ksu-Crowd Management, Guest Services And Event Staffing To The Kennesaw State University (The State Entity) As Further Described In This Erfp.Crowd Management Scope Of Workdepartment Of Athletics (Athletics) And Department Of Event And Venue Management (Evm) As Further Described In This Erfp. The Department Of Athletics And The Department Of Event And Venue Management Seek Companies That Have An Extensive Training Program Related To Their Crowd Management And Guest Services Staff While Being Open To Having Joint Training Sessions With Ksu Athletics And Evm Staff If Needed.We Seek Companies That Are Open To Working In A Collaborative Effort With The Athletics Or Evm Staff Along With Any Facility Staff That May Be Present. Ksu Athletics Utilizes Some Facilities That Are Managed By A Separate Entity And Thus May Utilize Other Staffing Companies Or In-House Personnel As Deemed Appropriate By Facility Management.Crowd Management Services Are Requested By Kennesaw State University To Support Large Events On Campus. Regular Responsibilities Of The Vendor Will Include Access Control (Pedestrian And/Or Vehicle), Bag Check, Metal Detection Operations, Guest Services, And Ushering. Occasional Duties May Include Ticket Takers, Lobby Hosts, Wheelchair Runners, Ada Attendant, Overnight Patrol, And Golf Cart Driver.These Services Are Needed Roughly At 100 Events Throughout The Year, Including Ksu Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, Volleyball, And Baseball, As Well As Atlanta United 2 Soccer Matches, Open Houses, Concerts, And Various Third-Party Events. The Heaviest Seasons Will Be Spring And Fall, But Events Are Hosted Year-Round (Even On University Breaks).The Crowd Management And Guest Services Vendor(S) Will Be Expected To Maintain A Staff That Is Trained And Experienced In Customer Service, Crowd Management, Metal Detector/Wand Operation, Bag Check, As Well As Best Practices Surrounding Safety A
