Non-Compliance With Health And Safety Legislation Carries Risks To Individuals Through Injury Or Harm And, Potentially, Prosecution For The Organisation And Named Individuals Where Serious Breaches Are Involved. Currently, Council Has No Single Coordinated System To Support The Health And Safety Management And Monitoring Activity. The Lack Of A Coordinated System Brings Risk To The Organisation Through An Inability To Monitor, Coordinate And Report On Activities As Well As The Potential For Errors And Omissions Through Double Handling And Data Entry. Significant Staff Time Is Spent Maintaining Records And Manually Progress Chasing To Ensure That Required Activities Are Undertaken.
