"Re-Anchoring Of The Floating Jetty "Torsvåg 1" Located In Torsvåg On Vannøy In Karlsøy Municipality" . Old Reports Of Concern Show That "Torsvåg 1" Has Been Problematic Ever Since 2003 When The Floating Dock Facility Was Built. The Problems Relate To The Floating Quay Moving Out Of Position And That Incorrect Design Of The Moorings Is Probably The Cause Of This. This Has Been A Recurring Problem Ever Since And Creates A Risk Of Damage To Both Vessels In Periods Of Bad Weather. It Is Now Time To Get The Moorings In Order And It Is Therefore Planned To Re-Anchor The Floating Quay System In Such A Way That It Remains In Position Without Moving. Torsvåg Is A Place That Is Particularly Exposed To Strong Gusts Of Wind And Rough Seas. Moorings Must Therefore Be Sized To Withstand Harsh Weather.
