Open Date: Tuesday, 13 June 2023 8:30 Am (Pacific/Auckland Utc+12:00) Close Date: Wednesday, 12 July 2023 12:00 Pm (Pacific/Auckland Utc+12:00) Tender Type: Request For Proposals (Rfp) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: New Zealand Required Pre-Qualifications: None Overview: Freshwater Farm Plans Are A New Legal Instrument Under Part 9A Of The Resource Management Act 1991. Part 9A Establishes Two New Statutory Roles For Freshwater Farm Plans Certifiers And Auditors. The Ministry Has Contracted Asurequality Limited To Support Regional Councils In Their Role To Establish And Implement The Process For Appointing Freshwater Farm Plan Certifiers And Auditors. Through This Rfp We Are Seeking Proposals From Suppliers With Relevant Experience And Capability, To Provide Independent, Expert Advice In Relation To The Processes For Appointing Freshwater Farm Plan Certifiers And Auditors And Related Systems, From A Tangata Whenua Perspective (The Kaitakawaenga Services). The Kaitakawaenga Services Will Ensure The Application And Appointment Processes Identify And Reflect Tangata Whenua Interests And Perspectives Including Of Te Ao Mori, Te Tiriti And Te Mana O Te Wai. Accordingly, The Ministry Is Seeking Proposals From Suppliers Who Have Demonstrated Experience And Understanding Of Te Ao Mori And Its Relationship To Freshwater Ecosystems And Existing Relationships With Tangata Whenua, And Are Able To Provide Independent Oversight And Advice To Ensure The Appointment Process Encompasses And Provides For Te Ao Mori And Tangata Whenua Interests And Perspectives.
