The Purpose Of This Procurement Is For The Ministry Of Health To Establish A New Contract For Maximum / Thermometers For Ontario’S Publicly Funded Immunization Programs. Each Good (Glycol And Non-Glycol Thermometers) Will Be Evaluated And Awarded Separately. Scope Of Work • These Max/Min (Glycol And Non-Glycol) Thermometers Are Digital Temperature Monitoring Device Which Is Used To Monitor Temperatures Of Vaccines That Require Refrigeration Between +2 To +8 Degrees Celsius. • The Max/Min Thermometers Are Required To Identify When A Cold Chain Incident Has Occurred Within The Insulated Container; Assisting In The Assessment Of Whether The Vaccine Is Still Usable Or No Longer Safe To Use. • The Vendor Must Supply Glycol And/Or Non-Glycol Thermometers, As And When Required, Which Must Meet The Mandatory Technical Product Specifications Locating In Section 3 Deliverables Of The Request For Bid Attachments. • The Forecasted Volumes At The Time Of Issuing This Request For Bid Are 1,620 Glycol Thermometers And 1,080 Non-Glycol Thermometers Per Year. These Are Estimates Only And Are Based On Historical Demand, And Are Not A Minimum Commitment.
