23-1584 Event Centre Project Development Manager (Stage One: Shortlisting Qualified Firms) . This Rfp Is Open To All Interested Vendors. The City Of Calgary Is Seeking A Qualified Firm To Assist With Development Management Responsibilities Associated With The Design And Construction Oversight Of An Event Centre And Associated Global Program Management. The Event Centre Project Is A Comprehensive Project Featuring A New Modern Event Centre, Indoor And Outdoor Gathering Spaces, A Community Rink, Land Remediation And Demolition. This Project Is A Significant Phase Of The Culture And Entertainment District, Located In The Rivers District, Downtown Calgary. It Is The Next Step In Calgary S Renewal As A Global City And International Destination, As Part Of A Total Package That Supports The Downtown Recovery. The Event Centre Is A Multi-Purpose Entertainment And Sports Centre That Will Serve As The Home Of The Calgary Flames Nhl Franchise And Associated Teams, And Will Also Host Family Shows, Concerts, Sporting Events, Community-Oriented Events, And Numerous Other Events. This Project Anticipates The Following Phases: All Stages Of Planning, Design, Construction, Commissioning, And Warrantee Phases Of The Project And Potentially The Associated Procurement Activities. It Is Anticipated That Throughout The Project That There Will Be Various Work Streams At Different Stages To Be Coordinated In Parallel. Unless Otherwise Stated In The Stage Two Agreement, The Award Under This Rfp Will Be For All Phases Of The Requirements, Subject To Approval By The City After Each Phase. The Procurement Will Be Conducted In Two Stages. This Stage One Is Open To All And Will Be Evaluated In Accordance With Stage One Evaluation Criteria. Stage Two Will Be Open To Invited Shortlisted Proponents From This Stage One. Those Shortlisted Proponents Will Receive Additional Information.
