Adorn The Bird With Feathers So It May Soar. The Arts Council Of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa (Creative New Zealand) Is Looking For A Mori-Led Arts Organisation To Develop, Deliver And Report On A High-Quality Mori Arts Internships Programme For A 12-Month Period During 2023-2024. The Objective Of The Programme Is To Provide Opportunities For Mori Arts Practitioners To Increase Their Arts Management Skills And Experience. The Initiative Also Aims To Address Skill-Gaps And Opportunities That Have Been Identified Through Creative New ZealandS Te H O Ng Toi Mori Strategy (2019-2024) And The Mori Arts Review 2012. What Outcomes Do We Want To See? The Mori Arts Internships Programme Will: Provide A Structured Programme Of Training For Five Emerging Mori Arts Practitioners To Build Their Skills And Arts And Cultural Sector Knowledge, Experience And Networks Through The Internships. The Programme Aims To Develop Future Mori Arts Managers, Professionals And Producers, To Support The Mori Arts Infrastructure, And Establish Pathways For Emerging Mori Who Wish To Embark On A Career In The Arts. Support A More Inclusive And Culturally Competent Arts And Cultural Sector For Aotearoa New Zealand. Support More Regional Mori Arts Development Opportunities. Provide A Placement For A Minimum Of Twenty Weeks Per Intern At One Or Multiple Arts Organisations Or Cultural Institutions. In The Week Commencing 29 May 2023 We Plan To Release A Call For Registrations Of Interest (Roi) To Develop, Deliver And Report On A High-Quality Mori Arts Internships Programme. This Part Of The Process Will Focus On The Attributes We Are Seeking From Potential Suppliers Of The Mori Arts Internships Programme. The Roi Will Close On Monday 3 July 2023. From The Rois A Shortlist Of Respondents Will Be Invited To Respond To A Request For Proposal (Rfp) To Develop, Deliver And Report On A High-Quality Mori Arts Internships Programme For A 12-Month Period.
