The Path To Leadership Is Through Service. The Arts Council Of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa (Creative New Zealand) Is Looking For A Pacific-Led Arts Organisation To Develop, Deliver And Report On A High-Quality Pacific Arts Internships Programme For A 12-Month Period During 2023-2024. The Objective Of The Pacific Arts Internships Is To Provide Opportunities For Pacific Arts Practitioners To Increase Their Arts Management Skills And Experience. The Initiative Also Aims To Address Skill-Gaps And Opportunities That Have Been Identified Through Creative New ZealandS Pacific Arts Strategy 2018-2023. What Outcomes Do We Want To See? The Pacific Arts Internships Will: Offer Five Internships Each Year Provide A Structured Programme Of Training For Emerging Pacific Arts To Build Their Skills, And Arts And Cultural Sector Knowledge, Experience And Networks Through An Intern Placement Within A Host Arts Organisation Provide Support And Relevant Training, Information And Advice To Host Organisations Increase The Numbers Of Experienced Pacific Arts Practitioners And Managers In Aotearoa New ZealandS Broader Arts And Cultural Sector Support A More Inclusive And Culturally Competent Arts And Cultural Sector For Aotearoa New Zealand. In The Week Commencing 29 May 2023 We Plan To Release A Call For Registrations Of Interest (Roi) To Develop, Deliver And Report On A High-Quality Pacific Arts Internships Programme. This Part Of The Process Will Focus On The Attributes We Are Seeking From Potential Suppliers Of The Pacific Arts Internships. The Roi Will Close On Monday 3 July 2023. From The Rois A Shortlist Of Respondents Will Be Invited To Respond To A Request For Proposal (Rfp) To Develop, Deliver And Report On A High-Quality Pacific Arts Internships Programme For A 12-Month Period.
