This Proposal Is For The Supply, Installation And Commissioning Of The Electrical Supply And Control Of The Pump Station Located On Churchill East Road, Rangariri. The Upgrade Work Will See Telemetry For The Churchill East Pump Station To Be Incorporated Into CouncilS Ricado Telemetry System For Remote Monitoring And Control Of The Pump Station. The Intent Is For The Monitoring And Operation Of The Pump Station To Match Existing Pump Stations Incorporated Onto The Ricada System. Council Is Looking For Credible Contractors Who Have The Capacity, Capability, Experience And Resources To Deliver This Project On Time And Within Budget. They Need To Have A Good Track Record On Health And Safety And Environmental Management. This Project Is Largely Funded By Mbie As Part Of The Covid19 Economic Recovery Shovel Ready Stimulus. The Funding Is A Special Measure Initiated By Mbie Aimed To Stimulate The Economy And Provide Opportunity To Develop A Skilled Workforce In The Area Where It Is Granted. This Is An Opportunity To Be Part Of CouncilS Upgrade Of Its Flood Protection Assets, Which Are Vital To Protecting Our Waikato Communities. The Churchill East (Holmes) Pumpstation Is The Main Drainage Outlet For The Churchill East Drainage Area In Rangariri. The Pumpstation Contains Four Pumps, Two Of Which, Due To Their Age Are No Longer Supported By Any Pump Supplier Within Nz. The Upgrade Project Sees All Four Pumps Being Replaced By Two Enclosed Archimedes Screw Pumps And The Pump Station Electrical System Is Being Upgraded To Support The New Pumps.
