Tenders Are Invited For Firm - Capacity Building Of Farmers In The Rice Supply Chain Linked To Olam Agri India Ifc Mas Advisory Has Engaged Directly With Olam Agro India (Currently Olam Agri India Pvt Ltd) On A Project With Multifold Objectives Focusing On Sustainability In Rice Cultivation. The Project Seeks To Seeks To Help The Rural Farmers In Its Supply Chains Improve Their Lives Through Higher Yields And Income From Agriculture. The Engagement Seeks To Address A Few Of These Challenges Pertaining To Environment Sustainability, High Pesticide Residue Levels And Social Issues With Special Focus On Gender Issues. Ifc Is Looking To Hire An Agency Who Will Support In Developing The Program Implementation And Monitoring Strategy For The Project Focusing On Sustainable Rice Cultivation. The Agency As An Implementation Partner Will Lead The Overall Implementation And Delivery Of The Project In Achieving The Program Objectives For The Next 12 Months ( Project Timeline/Duration: July2023- June2024) In The Rice Growing Areas Linked To The Supply Chain Of Olam Agri India. The Project Sites Are Located In Madlauda And Safidon In The State Of Haryana And Rajpura In Punjab. Indicative Number Of Farmers Expected To Join The Project In The Next 12 Months Are As As Follows: 1500 In Madlauda 1500 In Safidon And 1000 In Rajpura. Project Team Intends To Work With 400 Women Farmers In Madlauda, 400 In Safidon And 200 In Rajpura.
