The Greenhouse Gas (Ghg) Balance Of Transport Projects Is Becoming Increasingly Important In The Planning Processes Of The Federal Railways For Expansion And New Construction Measures. With Its Decision Of May 4Th, 2022 Az. 9 A 7.21 On The Northern Extension Of The A 14 (Bverwg, Judgment Of May 4Th, 2022 9 A 7.21), The Federal Administrative Court Determined That Compliance With The Requirement To Take Into Account According To Section 13 Of The Federal Climate Protection Act (Ksg) Of December 12Th, 2019 ( Federal Law Gazette I P. 2513), Last Amended By The Law Of August 18, 2021 (Federal Law Gazette I P. 3905), Must Also Be Documented In The Planning Documents By Planning Agencies And Authorities. The Carbon Footprint Of Rail Transport Projects Is Also Increasingly Being Critically Questioned In Public.
