The Center Works Through Its Branches In The Gaza Strip And The West Bank To Promote Community Development And Institutional Development At The National Level In Order To Achieve Sustainable Development In The Palestinian Society. The Center, In Partnership With Actionaid, Is Implementing The Project Enhancing The Impact And Leadership Roles Of Palestinian Youth For Resilient, Green, And Just Societies, Which Works To Involve Palestinian Youth In The West Bank And Gaza Strip More Effectively And Enhance Their Ability To Confront Environmental Risks And Negative Effects Resulting From Climate Change Through Through The Following Business Strategies: Raising Community Awareness About Environmental And Climate Issues, Which Contributes To Motivating And Encouraging Communities To Participate In Bringing About Change, While Highlighting The Occupation Practices That Violate The Palestinian Environment And Prevent The Implementation Of National Plans To Protect Natural Resources And Adapt To Climate Change. Lobbying And Advocating For The Development Of Policies And A Governance System That Generalizes The Consideration Of Climate Change And Its Impact On Access To Public Services And Sustainable Livelihoods. Enhancing Collective Action, Networking And Coordination At The Local And International Levels To Put The Main Players Responsible For Affecting The Environment And Climate Before Their Responsibilities. Seeking To Develop Viable Alternatives And Solutions To Deal With The Consequences Of Climate Change And Enhance The Resilience Of The Most Marginalized Communities And Livelihood Groups.
