Renovation Conversion/Extension Of The Selmigerheide Elementary School In Hamm. At The Selmigerheide Elementary School In Hamm-Pelkum, The City Of Hamm Intends To Build A Needs-Based Structural Extension In Addition To Structural Adjustments To The Existing Structure. In Addition, A Restructuring Of The School And All-Day Care Uses In The Existing Buildings And The Extension Is Planned. The School, Which Was Built In 1870/71, Has Been Expanded Again And Again, Although A Part Of The Building Along The Street Auf Der Horst Is No Longer Used For Schools. The Primary School Currently Consists Of Five Different Components From The Years 1900 To 2000. This Includes A Caretakers House Adjacent To The Old School, Which Is Used For Open All-Day Use, The Adjacent Part Of The Building (A2) From 1950 For Lunchtime Care, School Uses And Administration, The Building Part (A1) From The Late 1960S With Further School Uses And Administration Rooms As Well As The Last Extension Building Part B From The Year 2000 With Further School Rooms And A Day Care Center. The Structural Condition Of The Individual Parts Of The Building Is To Be Assessed Differently. The Spatial Prerequisites For The Implementation Of The Extension And Restructuring Are Created By The Partial Demolition Of The Existing Building (A1). The Selmigerheide Elementary School Is Currently Run In Three Classes In All Years And Is Attended By 290 Pupils. Pupil Numbers Are Expected To Remain Stable Going Forward. Nevertheless, Due To The Lack Of General Teaching Areas Such As Areas For Differentiation, Multi-Purpose Rooms, Self-Study Areas, A Forum And The Nested Floor Plan That No Longer Meets The Requirements, A Restructuring And Further Expansion Are Unavoidable. Proposals Are Expected For The Urban Spatial Links Between The New Parts Of The Building And The Existing Buildings, The Integration Into The Existing Environment, Architecturally Convincing Solutions For The New School Building/Extension As Well As For The Topic Of School Conversion/Restructuring And Interim Measures. In Order To Find A Suitable Planning Team For This Demanding Task, A Realization Competition According To Rpw 2013 With A Total Of Approx. 12 Participating Teams Is Planned. Following The Realization Competition, A Negotiation Procedure According To Vgv Will Be Carried Out With The Prizewinners. Participation Is Possible In The Following Constellations: A) Architects In Mandatory Collaboration With Landscape Architects Or B) Architects In Mandatory Cooperation With Landscape Architects, If Necessary With Interior Designers (If Interior Designers With Unrestricted Permission To Submit Building Documents (According To § 67 Bauo Nrw 2018) Wish To Participate, Cooperation With Architects And Landscape Architects Is Mandatory.) If The Project Is Implemented, The Organizer Intends To Commission A Prizewinner Or A Group Of Prizewinners With The Further Planning Services, Taking Into Account The Recommendations Of The Jury And Information From The Preliminary Examination, Provided There Is No Important Reason To The Contrary. A Retrieval Of The Lph 28 § 34 Or § 39 Hoai, (Fee Zone Iii) Is Planned. This Is Expected To Happen In Stages. The Contract Is Awarded In The Subsequent Negotiation Procedure (§14 (4) 8. Vgv), In Which The Award Winners Are Involved.
