Consultancy Services For The Development Of Thematic/Analytical Reports In Education The Scope Of Services Required Under This Consultancy Is Multi-Pronged, In That The Consultant Will Be Required To Undertake The Following: ● Analyse Trends In Regional Secondary Exit Examinations For The Period 2018 - 2022.The Analysis Should Consider Pre And Post Covid-19 Circumstances To Determine Possible Explanations And/Or Key Factors Contributing To The Differences Between Number Of Students Sitting Exams Compared To The Number Of Students Passing Exams. The Consultant Should, In The Analysis, Benchmark The Performance Of The Oecs Countries Against Regional Averages, With An Explanation For The Choice Of Comparator. The Report Should Present Findings On The Following Questions: O What Is The Performance Of Students Who Sit The Secondary Exit Exams In The Oecs? O With Regards To The Two Compulsory Subjects – English And Mathematics – What Does The Trend Data Indicate? What Are The Possible Factors That Influence Student Performance? O What Are The Key Concepts That Explain Student Performance? How Much Of Student Performance Is Informed By Each Of These Identified Concepts? ● Review Data Submitted On Key Education Indicators And Indicators For Monitoring Of The Oecs Education Sector Strategy; ● Identify Gaps And Inconsistencies In The Data Provided; ● Undertake The Necessary Investigations With Member States To Tell The Story By Providing Comprehensive Qualitative Analysis To Explain The Data Trends
