This Effort Is Geared Towards Promoting Continuity, Sustainability, And Localization. Spdi Is A Part Of The Cso Network Working In Peacebuilding, Women Peace And Security. Spdi In Collaboration With Crs Liberia And The Liberia Peacebuilding Office (Pbo) Supported By Irish Aid Will Work With WomenS Groups Across Five Counties In Liberia (Gbarpolu, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi And Grand Bassa) Under The Rethink Youth And Women Empowerment And Advancement Of Rights In Democracy (Ryward) Project. This Support Among Other Things Seeks To Empower Rural Women Through The Provision Of Empowerment Opportunities For Economic Development And Financial Independence Through The Village Savings And Loan Association (Vsla) That Creates Avenues For Involvement In Small Businesses And Agricultural Activities. Ten (10) New WomenS Groups Trained For Vsla Setup In Five Counties (Gbarpolu, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi, And Grand Bassa); 3. Ten (10) Vsla Toolkits Produced And Distributed To The 10 New WomenS Groups In Five Counties (Gbarpolu, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi, And Grand Bassa).
