Procurement Plan For Enhancing Connectivity And Resilience Of Mehndwani Chakdehi Road,Samnapur Gadasarai Road, And Sahajpur Tendukheda Road Brief Description Of The Project: Enhancing Connectivity And Resilience Of The Madhya Pradesh Road Network Project Will Upgrade About 500 Kilometers Of The State Road Network With Enhanced Safety Features And Will Be Implemented Under The Hybrid Annuity Model (Ham). The Project Will Have The Following Outputs: (I) State Highways And Major District Roads Improved With Climate And Disaster Resilient; Elderly, Women, Children, People With Disability (Ewcd); And Safety Features; (Ii) Capacity Of The State Road Sector Enhanced; And (Iii) Gender Equality And Social Inclusion And Road Safety Promoted In The Communities In Selected Project Districts. The Expected Outcome Will Be Road Transport Efficiency And Safety Improved Across The Selected Districts In Madhya Pradesh. Brief Description Of Goods And Related Services, Or Works To Be Procured: All Procurement Of Goods And Works Will Be Undertaken In Accordance With AdbS Procurement Policy (2017, As Amended From Time To Time) And Procurement Regulations For Adb Borrowers (2017, As Amended From Time To Time). While Advance Contracting Is Part Of The Normal Procedure, Approval Of Advance Contracting And Retroactive Financing Does Not Commit Adb To Approve The Project Loan Or To Finance The Project Costs. If Retroactive Financing Will Not Be Approved For The Project, Contracts Procured Under Advance Action Will Be Signed After Loan Effectiveness.
