Tienen Is Transforming And With The Construction Of A New Administrative Center, The Board Wants To Give Shape To Various Actions From The Long-Term Plan In An Integrated Manner, Including: Creating A Lively City Center The Development Of A Better And Efficient Service, Good Accessibility And Accessibility, And A Generally Positive Experience By The Citizen But Also: Making The Patrimony Energy Efficient Creating A Healthy, Safe And Pleasant Working Environment Focusing On An Integral, Dynamic And Positive Experience For Every Inhabitant Of Tienen. The Master Plan For The Renewal Of The City Center Emphasizes The Development Of The Identity Of Three Squares That, Together, Should Breathe New Life Into The Dynamics Of The City Center As A Center Of Attraction And Experience For Citizens, Traders And Visitors. The New Administrative Center Will Be Housed On One Of These Squares. The Master Plan Is The Broad Framework Within Which Work Is Done And With Which It Is Clear Where Construction Will Take Place (And Where Not) And What The Major Program Components Of That Construction Project Are. Those Program Components Have Been Provisionally Translated Into Square Metres, Based On The Existing Situation, Flemish Standards Regarding The Work Space Per Person And Assumptions Regarding The Proportion Of Home Work For Counter Functions And Other Functions. The Further Optimization Of The Use Of Space Through Efficient And Innovative Services (Service Design) Is Part Of This Assignment. However, It Is About More Than Just The Building And The Internal Flow And Layout. The External Flow And Integration Of, And Connection To, The Public Outdoor Space Must Also Be Included And Elaborated So That The Construction Of The New Administrative Center Contributes To The Creation And Experience Of A Vibrant And Dynamic City Centre. It Is About More Than A Classic Service Design Assignment In Which Each Service Is Individually Examined And Optimized. With This Assignment, The Board Aims For A Radical And Innovative Transformation In Terms Of The Interpretation Of Services, Service Provision And (Service) Experience And The Effect Thereof On The Space Used Or To Be Used, As Well As The Interaction With The Adjacent Public Outdoor Space. Not Only Will The Aim Be For As Many Synergies As Possible In The Existing Services, But Also For The Development Of Innovative Forms Of Service Provision That Create A New Dynamic, Are Future-Oriented And Contribute To A Vibrant City Center And Committed And Proud Residents And Staff.
