Invercargill Prison Currently Has Two Coal Fired Boilers That Are Due To Be Replaced As Part Of The DepartmentS Decarbonisation Project. A Move Away From Two Coal Fired Boilers, Towards Alternative Boiler Types Will Be Able To Provide A Reduction In Carbon Emissions, Reduction In Fuel Cost, And A Cleaner Solution For The PrisonS Hot Water And Heating Needs.
