Traffic Signals Are A Critical Component For The New Plymouth Roading Network. New Plymouth District Council (Npdc) Manages The Signals Maintenance Contract For All Signals On Behalf Of Waka Kotahi. We Have 26 Signals On Our Network Off Which 20 Are On State Highway, Owned By Waka Kotahi And 6 Signals Of Local Network Owned By Npdc. There Is Currently An Increased Need For Additional Signals On Our Network That Includes Intersection And Pedestrian Signals. We Have Approximately 8 Signals Projects Of Which 2 Recently Completed And 6 More To Design And Build Over The Next 3 Years. Approximately Two Signals Project Per Year.
