It Provides Drainage And Flood Protection To Approximately 1,480Ha Of Productive Farmland. This Tender Is For The Construction Of The Refurbished Pump Station Located On Churchill East Road, Rangariri. The Pump Station Is Being Modified To House Two Enclosed Archimedes Screw Pumps. This Project Is Largely Funded By Mbie As Part Of The Covid19 Economic Recovery Shovel Ready Stimulus. The Funding Is A Special Measure Initiated By Mbie Aimed To Stimulate The Economy And Provide Opportunity To Develop A Skilled Workforce In The Area Where It Is Granted.
