With The Realization Of The Kw Wassen, Mg1 Umbau 2026 Project, The Current 50Hz Machine Group 1 (Mg1) Is To Be Replaced By A 16.7Hz Traction Machine Group By Summer 2026. Due To The Conversion To Rail Power Generation And The Associated Reduction In Machine Speed To 501 Min1, A Complete Replacement Of The Machine, Turbine And Generator Is Required. The Existing Suction Elbow Must Be Reused.
