Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Consultancy Services For Construction Supervision Of The Design-Build Contracts For The Construction Of Mortem And Mongeba Weirs And Associated Raw Water Transmission Pipelines; Expansion /Rehabilitation Of Allentown Water Treatment Plant; Rehabilitation Of Two Booster Stations, Rising Mains And Six Reservoirs; And Construction Of Distribution Network Extension. Services To Be Provided Include But Are Not Limited To The Following: I. Checking And Approving Survey Data, Designs, Drawings, Programs, And Other Documentation Required To Be Submitted By The Contractor And Advising On Design Adjustments Whenever Such Adjustments Become Necessary. Ii. Supervision Of The Site Works For Compliance With The Approved Program, Specifications, And Any Other Obligation Of The Contractor/Supplier (Including Implementation Of Esmp And Other Environmental Safeguards) Iii. Inspection, Testing, And Witnessing Of Tests On Materials, And Witnessing Completion And Acceptance Tests For The Works Or Parts Of The Works. Iv. Certifying ContractorS Invoices Or Claims, Dealing With Variation Orders, Ordering Works, Maintaining Cost Control In The Administration Of The Contracts, And Monitoring Cash Flow To Ensure That There Is No Unjustifiable Cost Over-Run. V. Monitoring Progress Of Work, Preparing And Keeping Daily Field Records, And Arranging For Periodic Site Meetings. Vi. Supervision Of The Arrangement For And The Progress Of The ContractorS Operation And Maintenance Training Programme. Vii.
