Tenders Are Invited From Providers Who Wish To Be Included In The Flexible Purchasing System (Fps) Being Established By Cheshire East Council For The Provision Of Day Opportunities Services.The Council Wishes To Provide A Broad Range Of Day Opportunities Services To People With Varying Support Needs Within The Borough. Individuals Who Request Commissioned Support To Arrange Their Care And Support Package Will Access The Fps When Considering Their Options In Relation To Day Opportunities Provision. Day Opportunities Are Available For A Range Of Individuals And Groups With Eligible Support Needs. This Includes Older People (Including Those With Dementia), People With Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical And Sensory Disabilities, And For People With Mental Health Support Needs.The Contract Period Will Be For Fixed Term Of 5 Years. The Fps Will Open In Rounds Annually During The Contract Period, With Two Rounds In The First Year, And Then Opening Every Twelve Months. We May Also Open The Fps At Any Point During The Contact Period, Should A Need To Do So Arise. Providers Who Join The Fps Will Also Be Able To Supplement This Provision With Additional Service Users Including Those Utilising A Direct Payment And Self-Funders.Cheshire East Council Aims To Deliver Services That Are In Areas That Are Either In Borough, Or In Areas That Are Convenient For Service Users To Get To. Therefore, If You Only Intend To Deliver Services That Are In Areas That Do Not Fall Within This Requirement You Will Not Be Considered Eligible To Be Appointed To The Fpsthe Fps Is Divided Into Three Lots And Covers People With Eligible Care Act Needs. Providers Can Apply To Join One Or More Lots / Categories•Lot 1 - Building Based Services•Lot 2 - Community Support•Lot 3 - Employment, Skills And Trainingthe Service Will Be Available For Individuals Aged 18+ With Appropriate Eligible Social Care Needs.
