Quotation Are Invited For Drainage System Improvement The U.S. Embassy In Rangoon Has A Requirement For A Firm To Construct/Renovate An Existing Office Building In Yangon, Myanmar. The Services Of A General Construction Company To Perform Drainage System Improvement, U.S Embassy Rangoon. Scope Includes, But Is Not Limited To, The Following: The Contractor Shall Perform A Site Visit To Survey The Embassy Storm Drainage System, Manholes And Outfall Located In The Vicinity Of The NecS Service Yard And Utility Area. The Contractor Shall Prepare A Proposal For The Modification And Improvement Of The Existing Drainage System. The Proposal Shall Include: - Documentation Including Installation Drawings, Catalogues, Product Specification And Pump Curves. The Contractor Shall Also Provide Single Line Electrical And Control Diagrams And Sluice Gate/ Flap Gate Installation Details. - Sizing Of The Main And Duty Pumps To Achieve A Minimum Combined Discharge Of 100 Gallons Per Minute (Gpm). O Pumps Will Be Installed With Level Sensors. The Main Pump Will Be Set To High Live Start /Low Level Stop. The Duty Pump Will Engage To Provide Additional Pumping Capacity Above A Set Over-High Level. - Manhole: Penetrations Of The Existing Concrete Manhole Walls Shall Be Installed As Necessary To Accommodate Pumped Discharge Water (Picture 3 Below). - Sluice Gate / Flap Valve: A Flap Valve (400Mm) Shall Be Installed To Prevent Backflow Of Water From The Existing Retention Basin Into The Nec Manhole (Picture 4 Below). - Pumps & Piping: O Pump Discharge Outlets (100Mm) Will Be Directed To A Common Manifold. O The Manifold Shall Have A 150Mm Discharge Outlet. O Isolation Valves Shall Be Installed To Direct Discharged Pump Water Through Piping (150Mm) To Either The Existing Retention Basin Or Directly To Lake Inya. O All Piping Shall Be Heavy Schedule Hdpe. The Contractor Shall Also Provide A Work Schedule And Work Report. The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For The Testing And Commissioning Of The Pumps And Sluice Gate.
