This Project Would Also Enable Sustainable Development In Rural Areas. The Government Of West Bengal (Gowb) Through West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (Wbpdcl) Intends To Develop A Large-Scale Floating Solar Project In The Catchment Areas Of The Bakreswar Dam. Wbpdcl Has Planned To Install A Floating Solar Pv Project On Bakreswar Dam With The Financial Assistance Of The Asian Development Bank (Adb). In This Regard, The Project Preparation And Project Management Activity Are Being Undertaken For Environmental Impact Assessment, Social Safeguard Assessment, And Other Assessments And Due Diligence Activities That Are Necessary To Make The Project Eligible For Adb Project Readiness Financing (Prf). The Government Of West Bengal (Gowb) Will Receive Loan Financing In The Form Of Prf From The Adb For Preparing The Floating Solar Project At Bakreswar Reservoir. Wbpdcl Will Be Recruiting The First Consultants For Conducting Technical And Feasibility Studies To Prepare The Detailed Project Report (Dpr). Adb Will Be Recruiting The Second Consultants To Prepare The Project To Which Includes Environmental Impact Assessment, Social Safeguard Assessment, And Other Assessments And Due Diligence That Is Necessary To Make It Eligible For Adb Financing And Project Management Services. Both The Consultants I.E., Dpr Preparation Consultant And Project Preparation Cum Project Management Consultant Shall Cooperate With Each Other As Required.
