Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Development Of The National Green Taxonomy For Uzbekistan The World Bank Group Invites Eligible Firms And Individuals To Indicate Their Interest To Provide Services. The Assignment Involves Drafting Assistance To The Newly Established Governmental Working Group In Developing A National Green Taxonomy To Support The Uzbek Governments Green Economy Program And Action PlanAs Set Out In Presidential Resolution #436 And Other Declared Environmental Objectives. The Assignment Envisions The Design Of A Pilot National Green TaxonomyInclusive Of Rules, Criteria, And ThresholdsBased On Peer Group Models And Global Good Practices. A Policy Framework Paper Is Currently Being Prepared And Will Underpin The High-Level Policy Design Of The Taxonomy. The Assignment Will As Such Help Specify Green Project Types And Rules For Eligibility, As Well As The Governmental And Industry Engagements Needed To Pilot The Taxonomy. A Common Taxonomy Applicable To Both Public Expenditures And Private Finance Is The Preferred Approach. Global Knowledge And Engagement Skills As Well As Access To Local Networks And Knowledge Will Be Required For Successful Candidates. Outputs For The Assignment Are Not Yet Defined But May Include Drafting Language For Green Taxonomy Regulations And Tools For Operationalizing The Taxonomy.Interested Firms And Individuals Are Invited To Provide Service Brochures, Past Assignments, Staff Skillsets, And Cvs, And Other Information Demonstrating Their Qualifications.
