Advertisement Date: 19 Mar 2023 Iraq Time Submission Date: 02 Apr 2023 At 23:30 Iraq Time The Education Consortium Of Iraq (Eci) Is A Three-Year Project Funded By The Us Department Of StateS Bureau Of Population, Refugees And Migration (Bprm) And Is Called Ejtyaz. The Project Started In September 2020 And Will End In Sept 2023. The Consortium Is Comprised Of Four Ngos, Working Together To Support Education In Iraq Through Activities Across Six Governorates. The Four Members In The Consortium Are The Norwegian Refugee Council (Nrc) (Consortium Lead), Save The Children (Sc), Mercy Corps (Mc), And Nonviolent Peaceforce (Np). Eci Targets The Most Vulnerable Preschool, Primary And Secondary School-Aged Children, Youth, Their Families And Households, And Education Personnel In The Selected Governorates. The 23 Specific Target Districts, By Governorate, Are: Anbar (Ramadi, Qaim, Fallujah And Rutba Districts: Nrc And Mc); Diyala (Saadiya, Jalawla: Sc); Dohuk (Dohuk, Shekhan, Zakho, Bardarash And Sumel: Nrc And Sc); Kirkuk (Hawija, Kirkuk And Debis: Nrc And Mc); Ninewa (Al-Hadar, Tel Kaif, Tel Afar, AlbaAj, Sinjar And Mosul: All Members); And Salah Al-Din (Baiji, Shirqat And Tikrit: Mc And Sc). Multiple Members Are Implementing In Each Of The Governorates, Both Providing Complementary Activities And Helping To Expand The Reach In Each Location. Eci Activities Improve Equal Access To Safe And Inclusive Education And Create Opportunities For Youth And Community Engagement.
