Expression Of Interest Are Invited For External Audit Services Of The Enhancing Value Addition In The Groundnut Sector Project (Evagsp) Gamworks Agency Is In The Process Of Recruiting A Firm For The External Audit Services Of The Agency And The Enhancing Value Addition In The Groundnut Sector Project. The Agency Is Now Inviting For Submission Of Request For Expression Of Interest From Registered Firms To Audit The Financial Statements For Both The Agency For The Years 2022 To 2025 And For The Project For The Years 2021 To 2025. Scope Of Work The Successful External Auditor Will Audit The Agency And The Evagsp Project And Will Also Be Required To Present The Audit Report Of Gamworks At The AgencyS Annual General Meeting (Agm). Specifically, The Audit For The Project Will Cover: 1. All Payments /Disbursement Under The IstisnaS Operations, 2. All Payments/Disbursements Under The Old Loan Operations, 3. All Payments/Disbursements Under The New Loan Operations. Audit Objective The Objective Of The Audit Is To Obtain Reasonable Assurance That The Financial Statements Reflect A True And Fair View Of The Financial Position Of The Agency; And For The Project, That The Financial Statements Are In Compliance With The Financing Agreements And Other Covenants Such As The Accounting And Disbursement Manuals Of The Donor. The Audit Will Be Performed In Accordance With International Financial Reporting Standards (Ifrs) And International Standards Of Auditing (Isa). The Audit Report Will Include An Independent Auditors Report (Opinion) On The Financial Statements Of The Agency And On The Project, Statements Of Expenditures And The Special Accounts In Accordance With The Financing Agreement Signed.
