Work Detail
1. The Subject Of The Contract Is The Modernization Of The Water Treatment Plant In Stary Korczyn. The Modernization Will Be Carried Out In The Design-Build System - Therefore, The Potential Contractor Should First Present The Concept And Design Documentation Describing The Adopted Solutions In Detail, And Then, After Their Acceptance And Possible Obtaining Of The Appropriate Permits Required By Law, Proceed To The Implementation Of The Task. It Is Assumed That Most Of The Specified Tasks Will Be Implemented In The Form Of Notification Of Construction Works. The Suw In Stary Korczyn Treats Surface Water Taken From The Nida River. The Constantly Deteriorating Quality Of The Intake Water, As Well As The Increasing Demand For Water, Forces Appropriate Actions Related To The Technological Modernization Of The Facility To Be Taken. It Results From The Lack Of Sufficient Technological Efficiency In The Situation Of High Demand For Water And Poor Water Quality In The Nida River. As A Result Of Technological Analysis, Assessment Of Treated Water Quality Parameters And Needs Related To The Efficiency Of The Production Process, The Following Scope Of Modernization Of The Facility Was Developed: • Extension Of The Sand Filtration System (Addition Of Two Pressure Filters In The Existing Building), • Extension Of The Carbon Filtration System (Addition Of One Pressure Filter In The Existing Building), 2) Improvement Of The Technological And Hydraulic Efficiency Of The Facility By: • Installing Inverters For The Existing Second-Stage Pumps And Third-Stage Pumps, • Expansion Of The Ozone Production System (Increasing The Efficiency Of The Ozone Production Process) - Ultimately, The Water Will Be Ozonated In Two Stages (Intermediate And Preliminary Ozonation Using The Existing Ozonator) • Reconstruction Of The System For Introducing Ozone Into The Water (In The Ozone System Indirect Installation) • Installation Of A Uv Lamp As Another Disinfection Barrier - At The Exit From The Wtp, • Reconstruction Of The Automatic Control System For The Wtp Operation (Elimination Of The Currently Identified Problems With The Automatic Control Of The Wtp Operation - Which Involves The Installation Of New Second And Third Stage Pump Sets And Change Their Control), • Installation Of New Control Cabinets For Filters And The Wwtp Control System, • Implementation Of A New Visualization System With Archiving Of Selected Technology Elements, • Integration Of The Old Wwtp Operation Control System And The Control System For New Devices Installed On The Facility, • Replacement Of Filter Beds (On Sand Filters ) And Filter Beds Of Carbon Filters (Granular Activated Carbon), • Replacement Of Drainages Of Sand And Carbon Filters, ◦ Reconstruction Of The Carbon Filter Washing System (Full Automation Of The Existing Process), • Insertion Of New Filters Into The Existing Control And Automation System, • Expansion Of The Technological Measurement System Go Suw (Introduction Of Additional Quality Measurements Of Raw And Treated Water), • Expansion Of The Suw Operation Monitoring System With Biomonitoring.
