The Objective Of This Technical Assistance (Ta) Is To Identify And Prioritize Investments In Nbs And Greening Of Urban Areas More Broadly In Bangui And Some Selected Secondary Cities (E.G., Berberati, Bambari And Birao, Inter Alia). The Ta Explores The Integration Of Nbs, Such As In Public Buildings, Public Spaces And Street And Drainage Design, For Climate Mitigation And Adaptation Benefits In The Most Vulnerable Neighborhoods And Population (Women And Idps) Of The Selected Cities. The Expected Outcomes Will Be Created By Implementation Of Nbs And Include The Reduction Of Ghg, Increase Of Climate Resilience, And The Improvement Of Livability In Low-Income Vulnerable Neighborhoods. Desired Climate-Related Benefits Could Be Flood, Erosion, And Heat Risk Reduction, While Other Benefits Could Be The Improvement Of Food Security And Water Quality With Urban Agriculture And Strategic Planting Near Water Sources For Bioremediation Purposes.
