Deadline: 03-Apr-2023 16:00 (Gmt 4.00) Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Baku, Tbilisi Faosng Would Like To Procure Bovine Tb Lab Project Items For The Project "Support To Eradication Of Animal Diseases And Zoonosis And Conservation Of Animal Genetic Resources" In Bahrain Utf /Bah/006/Bah In The Framework Of The Food And Agriculture Organization Of The United Nations (Fao) Kingdom Of Bahrain Project, Fao Supports The Eradication Of Animal Diseases And Zoonosis In The Kingdom Through Strengthening Capacities In Laboratory And Disease Surveillance On Livestock Diseases. Among The Diseases Targeted For Eradication Is Bovine Tuberculosis (Bovine Tb) And Is Being Made Possible Through Screening Of All Bovine Herds Using Various Lab And Field Diagnostic Techniques To Identify Reactors. Isolation And Characterization (Including Molecular Genetic) Of Diseases Causing Agents On The Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Complex Is An Important Step For Designing Its Eradication From The Kingdom. The Fao Technical And Advisory Assistance Provided Within This Project Will Reinforce The Capacity Of The Staff Of Ministry Of Municipal Affairs And Urban Planning. A Component Of The Project Will Strengthen Inter-Sectoral Collaboration On Zoonosis Control. Through This Procurement Fao Supports The Kingdom Of Bahrain In The Establishment Of A Dedicated Lab For Bovine Tb In Support Of Progressive Eradication Of Bovine Tuberculosis.
