Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Technical Assistance Required For The Implementation Of The Unplanned Areas Upgrading And Employment-Enhancement Program In Egypt - Top-Up Phase. The Egyptian Micro, Small And Medium Enterprise Development Agency (Msmeda, Hereinafter The Client) Has Received A Grant Of 15 Million Euro Grant From The French Development Agency (Afd) Funded On Eu Delegated Funds Originating From The Neighborhood Investment Facility (Nif) Of The European Union (Eu) To Implement The Unplanned Areas Upgrading And Employment-Enhancement Program In Egypt Which Was Successfully Implemented Through The Period From 2017 To 2022. Considering The Success Of This Programme, An Additional Amount Of 3 Million Euros Have Been Allocated To Finance Additional Projects In The Four Areas Of Al-Zawya Al-Hamraa, Ezbit Khairallah (Cairo Governorate), Mit-Uqba And Ard El-Lewa (Giza Governorate). It Should Be Noted That These Projects Were Included In The 2016 Naads Report, But They Were Not Funded During The First Phase Of The Program Due To Lack Of Funds.
